Workaround for GarageBand

GarageBand is sandboxed application, thus file access is restricted by operating system. Since A.O.M. plugins requires file access to scan licenses, it will fail to scan licenses under sandboxed application.

A workaround is available as following.

  1. Quit GarageBand and other DAWs.
  2. Open “Terminal.app”. It is placed at Applications > Utilities > Terminal.app.
  3. Enter this command: ln -s ~/Library/"Application Support"/A.O.M/ ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.garageband10/Data/Library/"Application Support"/ Note this is a long single line command, we recommend to copy and paste the line to Terminal.app.
  4. Press enter key after command input.
  5. Confirm that there is no error message and Terminal.app is showing a next command prompt.
  6. Start GarageBand.
